Welcome to Chesapeake Performance Events LLC!

We are dedicated to bringing boaters and bikers as much information as we can on events, gatherings, parties etc.

Our goal is to bring like minded people together to live life to the fullest. Bikers and boaters are passionate people, we want to share our passion with you! Our focus is on the Chesapeake Bay area, but we will list other events that we have attended and can recommend. Remember, Life's about the journey, not the destination. Enjoy the ride!

Our riding and boating season is over, all we have now are the memories, photos, and videos. However next season is only a few months away, enjoy your winter, save your money and be ready for next season. We will begin posting events around the first of the year.

Challenge the Chesapeake!

Saturday August 1, 2009

This year it will be a little different, we are planning an overnighter, we will be running from Solomons Island to Kent Narrows, there are several Hotels within walking distance, and the ammenities at Mears Point Marina are incredible!!! Not to mention the Sunday Bikini Contest. Due to the economy we are forced to cut back, however the entry fee is also cut back. Dinner, entertainment, prizes, a poker hand, donation will be included. However lunch will be at your expense, and there will be no T-shirts. We apologize for these cut backs, but we were hit hard last year too!

Childrens National Medical Center

Saturday 08/01/09 -

9:00 a.m. - Registration and Captains meeting at Calypso Bay South, Solomons Island

10:00 a.m. - Depart Solomons

11:00 a.m. - Lunch Stop Calypso Bay, Deale, MD

12:30 p.m. - Depart Calypso Bay

1:00 p.m. - Arrive Annapolis Area TBA

3:00 p.m. - Last Stop Red Eyes Dock Bar/Mears Point Marina, enjoy the pool, bar or pool side bar

7:00 p.m. - Awards/Dinner at Red Eyes Dock Bar. The Band at Red Eyes will be Backseat Betties starting at 8:00 p.m. We highly reccomend the Bikini Contest on Sunday, the band will be VS the Earth.

Safety -

Your enjoyment and safety are our main priority. We will have rescue personel on the run with us and we follow industry guidelines and standards for poker runs.

Lodging -

In Solomons Island, MD - the Holiday Inn Select Solomons, 155 Holiday Dr., Solomons,MD., 410-326-6311.
Solomons Harbor Marina is the adjoining marina, 410-326-1052 for overnight dockage.

In Kent Narrows/Grasonville, MD. - you have 3 choices, The Holiday Inn Express 410-827-4454, is closest to Red Eyes. The Best Western 410-827-6767, is next closest, and the Hilton Garden Inn 410-827-3877 is the furthest. They are all within walking distance. No special rates have been set up.

Overnight Dockage - Mears Point Marina, 410-827-8888, $2.75 per foot. The ammenities are excellent, beautiful pool with bar, immaculate bath/shower/locker rooms. Very nice slips, or you can request to stay at fuel dock upon arrival.

Ramp -

In Solomons, MD - Solomons Boat Ramp (Pepper Langley Boat Ramp/Pier), 14195 Solomons Island Rd. S., Solomons, MD 20688, beside Gov. Thomas Johnson Bridge. 5 ramps, wide enough for Cats, see attendant for parking.

Registration -

Entry fee is $160. Incudes: dinner, entertainment, prizes, a poker hand, and most importantly a Donation to Childrens National Medical Center. Badass Boaters/Bikers Bash!!!

Saturday June 27th, 2009

We will be running along the Patuxent River from Solomons Island to Benedict and back, we will be ending with a Badass Beach Bash at Veras' Whitesands. There will be a DJ, Cookout, games, and a donation to Childrens National Medical Center, all included in the $30 per person price. Poker hands will be available at $20 each, $10 going to Childrens, and $10 going to the pot. The river is short, so I am sure the party will be long!

This is a benefit for Childrens National Medical Center.

10:00 a.m. - Registration at Calypso Bay, Solomons Island

10:30 a.m. - Mandatory Captains Meeting/Depart Calypso Bay for Seabreeze Inn in Sandgates.

11:00 - 1:00 - Seabreeze , Lunch will be available, outside bar will be open.

1:30 - 3:30 - Rivers Edge Restaurant, Benedict

4:00 - 7:00 - Cookout, DJ, and party at Vera's White Sands on the Beach!!! After our party stay and enjoy the live band at Vera's.
